1. Data controller
The data controller for the personal data collected through this site is Zenthik, domiciled at Mercedes Norte, Heredia, Costa Rica, email info@zenthik.com and phone +506 7041 0504 (hereinafter, Zenthik).
This policy is governed by Law No. 8968, the Law on the Protection of Individuals regarding the Processing of their Personal Data, and its regulations.
2. Data collected
Zenthik collects only the data necessary to assist the people who contact it:
- Data that a person voluntarily provides when writing by email, calling or booking a meeting: name, email address, phone number, company and the content of the inquiry.
- Data that the scheduling provider (Calendly) records when a meeting is booked, such as date, time and time zone.
- Technical data that browsers routinely send when visiting a website (IP address, browser type, pages visited), recorded by the hosting provider for security and operational purposes.
- If the person accepts it, site usage data measured with Google Analytics (pages viewed, visit duration, device type and approximate location), without identifying them by name.
3. Purposes
The data is used to:
- Answer inquiries and requests for information about Zenthik's services.
- Schedule and hold initial diagnostic meetings.
- Prepare proposals and quotes requested by the interested person.
- Maintain the security and proper operation of the site.
- Understand how the site is used in order to improve it, only if the person accepts analytics.
- Comply with legal obligations where applicable.
4. Legal basis and consent
Processing is based on the person's informed consent, given when contacting Zenthik, and on carrying out the actions the person requests. Consent may be withdrawn at any time, without retroactive effect, by writing to info@zenthik.com.
5. Who the data is shared with
Zenthik does not sell or transfer personal data to third parties for commercial purposes. Data may be processed by providers that deliver services necessary to operate the site and customer service, under their own privacy policies:
- Calendly, for booking meetings.
- Google Maps, to show the location on the contact page.
- Google Analytics, to measure site usage, only if the person accepts it.
- Hosting and email providers.
6. Cookies and third-party services
This site does not use cookies for advertising. It uses necessary technical storage, with no personal data, to remember the cookie choice and the position on the page when switching language.
Zenthik uses Google Analytics to measure visits and improve the site, with personalized advertising and Google signals turned off. This tool is not loaded until the person accepts it in the cookie notice; if they reject it, no analytics cookie is installed. If accepted, the _ga and _ga_ cookies are created (up to two years).
The choice can be changed at any time from the “Cookies” link at the bottom of every page. Embedded third-party services (booking calendar and map) may install their own cookies or collect technical data when they load; their processing is governed by those providers' policies.
Users can also configure their browser to block or delete cookies.
7. Retention
Data is kept for as long as necessary to fulfill the stated purposes and applicable legal obligations, and is deleted or anonymized when it is no longer needed.
8. Security
Zenthik applies reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss or alteration. No system is completely invulnerable; therefore, sensitive information such as passwords or financial data should not be sent through insecure channels.
9. Individual rights
Under Law No. 8968, every person has the right to access their data, rectify it, request its deletion and withdraw their consent. To exercise these rights, write to info@zenthik.com stating your name, the right you wish to exercise and a contact method. Zenthik will respond within the time limits set by law.
If you believe your rights were not honored, you may go to the Data Protection Agency of Costa Rica (Prodhab).
10. Minors
This site is aimed at organizations and adults. Zenthik does not intentionally collect personal data from minors. Awareness talks held at schools are coordinated with the institution and its representatives.
11. Changes to this policy
Zenthik may update this policy to reflect regulatory changes or changes to its services. The current version is the one published on this page, with its last update date.
